Terrorist activity ruled out

Gilgit, September 13: Police Chief of Gilgit-Baltistan region here ruled out any possibility of terrorist hand in collapse of Gilgit Bridge over Karakuram Highway that linked Pakistan with China. “We have examined it from various angles and found no clue that the collapse was result of some terrorist activity” Inspector General Police, Khurshid Alam told APP. He said every crime has a language that helps investigators to nab culprits and the site has been examined repeatedly by experts of National Highway Authority, Chinese Engineers and experts of intelligence agencies but nothing was found that collapse was because of terrorist act. Khurshid Alam said by the grace of Allah Almighty the region was most peaceful part of the country.
