GBUJ meeting stresses positive role of journalists

Karachi, July 12: Journalists have an important role to play in betterment of the society. As torch bearers of the fourth pillar of state journalists need to be objective in their analysis and accurate in reporting. These were stated during a meeting of the Gilgit Baltistan Union of Journalists (GBUJ) held at a local hotel.

Dr Rafi Usmani and Abbas Wafa, president and vice president of the union, respectively, addressed the meeting, along with other members. The need to share informaiton and insights about the region’s issues was also highlihgted during the meeting.
