Protest in Gadhi Bagh Gilgit against torture of politician

Gilgit, July 31: Protests against the brutal torture of Muhammad Hussain by Ranger personnel continue in Gilgit. Today acitvists of PML, KNM, BNF and members of the Gilgit municipal committee registered protest at Gadhi Bagh, near NLI market.

Eman Shah, vice – chairman Gilgit District Council, Illyas Siddiqui, Chairman MC and others made speeches, demanding punishment for those involved in inhumane torture of an elected representative.

    Why the rangers tortured him? Why the world media is silent on these episodes while even rape cases done by individuals are foisted on security personnel in Srinagar

    It is really shame for us that rangers had torture the elected member of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
