Aziz Ur Rehman from Shimshal drowned in river Jehlum

Karachi, August 11: In an unfortunate incident 26 years old Aziz Ur Rehman from Shimshal, currently serving in Pakistan Army, has drowned in Jehlum river, in Punjab. According to reports he was visiting Jehlum for examination purpose. The deceased was son of Abdul Rehman. 

The dead body has been shifted to Gilgit city, but due to worst condition of the road it has not been, yet, transported to his home town. Efforts are on to arrange for an airlift of the departed soul.

    This is indeed a shocking news for all of us. I would like to extend my heartfelf condolence to Uncle Abdul Rehman and his entire family.
    It is no doubt a big loss for the entire family but the only thing that we can do is to pray for the departed soul.

    A student’s death is termed as mytrdom. It may hold true for Aziz if was en route to educational examination, as cited in the report above.

  13. It is with the greatest of sadness that I have come to know about the untimely and tragic demise of Aziz Ur Rehman. I pray that Allah give him a place in His eternal abode, and that He gives the family strength, courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

    Losing of a son of soil creates a void that can never be filled. However, take comfort in knowledge that he is now with Him, and that May Allah Almighty rest his soul in peace and grant you courage to bear this untimely and irreparable loss. Prayers can bring come solace. Aameen!
