Zafar Waqar Taj appointed first Deputy Commissioner of Hunza – Nagar

Gilgit, November 6: According to a notificaiton issued by the Government of Gilgit – Baltistan Zafar Waqar Taj has been appointed as the first deputy commissioner of Hunza – Nagar district. Zafar has served in different capacities in various parts of Gilgit – Baltistan. He is also a young intellectual of Gilgit – Baltistan who has authored three books of poetry, including Aakas and Aanand.

He was also the first election commissioner of Gilgit – Baltistan, before being replaced by Durrani.
