PPP claims support of 17 GBLA members

Gilgit, November 25: Chaudhary Manzoor of Pakistan People Party has told the press that no person has been finalized, yet, for any designation in the future cabinet of Gilgit – Baltistan Legislative Assembly. He also claimed support of 17 out of the 23 elected representatives of GBLA.

It is pertinent to note that Ayub Shah, the independent candidate from Yasin Valley who had defeated secretary general of PPP, Ghulam Muhammad, has also joined Pakistan Peoples Party, apart from Abdul Hameed of Astore.

Further, he has said that some members of JUI would have also agreed to support PPP in the assembly.
