Eco Adventure Club plans a cleanup expedition on Margalla hills

Islamabad, December 10: Eco Adventure Club plans to arrange a cleanup expedition on the majestic hills of Margalla on the occasion of INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN DAY. The purpose of expedition is to contribute, however small, towards a clean environment of places that are still in pristine condition but in-creasingly threatened to lose it because of increased human activities.
EAC has selected Margalla Hills for cleanup expedition for several reasons. Foremost amongst these is the prox-imity of Margalla Hills to Islamabad city. Because of easy access the hills witnessed drastic surge in human ac-tivities. As a corollary, its landscape is littered with waste. The cleanup expedition is two fold as it is practical activity on the one hand, and educational on the other.
For this expedition, EAC is going to engage two hundred members who will carry out a day long activity of cleaning of Margalla Hill from waste. It is estimated that the total waste collection by these members will be approximately 200 kilos. The total area of cleanup operation is 8 kilometers.

i am happy with my eco Advanture club for islamabad becouse they have good instuter and polite persons i love this club.
i am member of this club around year 2009 till for my life i am thanks for exitive of (EAC) VP Rizwan, aman, iqbal , kaiser and seniour instuter tahir zaman and all of my dear member of club i miss those days i hope inshallah we shall meet any time take care stay get to gather..
