Ny heartiest congratulations to Dr.Shahida for her intellectual achievements. This is the achievement on which we all should be proud of and not on the material achievement of somebody as we usually do. Material achievements can only help somebody and his immediate family. The general public will not be benefited. On the other hand, Dr.Shahida’s achievement will benefit the entire nation. Under Feudalism,a person’s wealth was praised not his knowledge.

    Dear Readers of PT,
For the last many days we are coming up with some very good news about the young talents who are proving their abilities at international level and have embarked on a noble mission to serve the humanity at large.
Dr Shahida, I am more than happy knowing about your success story and the magnificent performance you have shown through out your career up till now. I have always been very eager to see people from the region progressing in the field of science and technology as well. We have many people in the social sector but unfortunately have a few in the filed of science either applied or basic.

Let’s come out of the traditional pattern and do something new. Life is not just restricted in some very special areas rather many new and interesting fields are waiting for you to step in for better future and for a good career.

Dr Shahida is really a role model for our female folk and can follow her and move into the areas which can really benefit not only their personal life rather can change the fate of the people at large.

We are really lacking behind in the area of Health sciences and are away from the real stream of real health care.
This moment provokes me to relate here an incident when a family from Punjab got some really bad injuries in a road accident and were brought to Gulmit for emergency treatment. The situation was crucial and had not even the cotton available to disinfect the external body parts seriously damaged and had just one technician to take up the entire emergency situation. At that very moment I realized that we need people and at least the basic health facilities to cope up such emergency cases.

I am very hopeful that people like Dr Shahida will come back and serve the deprived people of the region. I would at the same time urge the representatives to at least strive for the basic health facilities and ensure the well being of the oppressed people in the region for a good tomorrow.

Dr Shahida, all the very best for your future targets and your desire to be an oncologist is really commendable and will cure many oncogenic patients if you really extend your keen support and knowledge to the deserved people of your region in specific and to the humanity in general. This will be indeed for a noble cause.

    All the very best
