I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Pamir Times Team for their outstanding and untiring performance in the year 2009,Addressing various Issues of Gilgit-Baltistan and gathering information and news across the globe. I WISH PAMIR TIMES TEAM AND PAMIR TIMES READERS A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010. i believe and expect more from Pamir Times for another revolutionary steps for Uniting Youths and people of Gilgit-Baltistan,for a combine development and progress of the region. i am sure this platform will give more opportunities to the Youth of GB to address and discussed the issues ,yet not considered!

Happy New Year to all the Loved ones, viewers and PT team, may this year bring the warm happiness, sucess ful events, chill moments in your Life (Ameen) .
Reflecting back 2009 was a year of hope and despair for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB); hope as the fragile democracy of pakistan agreed to accept our ‘identity’ though partially by renaming GB; depair, as the pakistan political culture of loot, lies, fraud, violence, dishonesty and corruption penetrated more severely into the polity of GB during elections;, and the political leaders and the youth lost identity by rallying behind colours, leaders and fantasies that are alien to the soil of GB and are extension of the forces of oppression and colonialism.
At the dawn of 2010, lets hope the youth will rediscover its cultural and nationalistic roots and the educated youth and women will take increasing leadership roles in the politics of GB espousing values of tolerance, pluralism, participation, transparency, honesty, justice and peaceful co-existence.
