Another avalanche near the endangered Gulmit – Shishkat bridge

This is the third avalanche near the bridge that might submerge in the artificial lake formed on Hunza River. The avalanche site, right in front of Shishkat village, is a barren land and no loss to life or property was reported. The avalanche, however, blocked the Karakuram Highway.
