Scout embraces Shahadat, FWO worker injured due to fresh landslide at Attabad

Islamabad, March 7: Shehzad, a student of 12th grade at the Aliabad campus of Gilgit Commerce College, was severely injured while helping transportation of wheat flour to the stranded people of Gojal valley near the landslide debris after being hit by boulders falling from the January 4 landslide site in the afternoon of Friday February 5, 2010.

A worker of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) was injured as a result of the fresh landslide.

Both the injured were shifted to the combined military hospital, Gilgit where Shehzad succumbed to his injuries.

Pamir Times hails the voluntary services of Shehzad Shaheed and extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the people of Gojal – Hunza.

    May Allah place the innocent soul of scout Shahzad in His eternal Asal.
    Though voluntary service has its own value no secondary to other services, yet we should encourage volunteers from other walks of life first then to students, as students -through studies- are already doing great job.

    its really a shocking news for all us ,the enxious death of mr,shezad during rendring service as boy scout in the affected area of atta abad.
    we are proud of mr.shezad shaheeds service for the people of gojal and led his life for the betterment of gojla.may my loard rest his soul in etenral peace and give a strong heat to courage to bear this unbearable incident of their beloved son,brother and a good social worke(boy scout).

    we are all equall with the bereaved family in this big loss,but we can pray for the rest of his soul rather then to out of conciouse.

    Shazad Sher demonstrated a true sacrifize. A young college student- volunteer lost his life while helping those who were in need of help.

    Indeed, we are all truely shocked and pray for his soul to be in eternel peace. our condolences to the partents, family members and friends.

    I would expect that the governemnt will reward his sacrifize for his exceptional community services.

Inshallah we all will follow your footsteps and want to work volunteer services untill we do not shed the last drop of our blood. Now u held the beacon of shahadat for us all hunzais and we do hope that all pple will unite on single front and will tide over this challenge which is posing danger to all our area and pple.
    We all salute u and u will remain in our hearts untill we alive.

    Shezad was a nice friend of mine. he always used to help others . i know him from last 5 or 6 years. When i herd abt this i didnt believed. But still why i am feeling like it didnt happened. But i had to believe . May god rest his soul in peace. and i will pray for u buddie . Ameen.
