    Dear PT,

Let us not forget that this fort was donated graciously and without monetary benefit by Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan and family to H.H. Prince Karim Aga Khan in October 1993. Undoubtedly, this fort, now a global tourist icon has not only reinforced Hunza’s presence on tourist maps but also achieved UNESCO’s award for Islamic architecture by appearing on the cover of TIME Magazine. Likewise, Altit Fort will do the same justice.
