Restoration of KKH and draining dammed Hunza River major challenges: Baig

Islamabad, November 14: Acting governor of Gilgit – Baltistan, Wazir Baig, attended the Pakistan Development Forum, held in Islamabad.  Speaking at the occasion he said that two of the major issues being faced by the GB government are restoration of the Karakoram Highway and early release of water from the dammed Hunza River.

In a plenary sessions on the topics of Provincial development  Zulfiqar Ali Khosa (Punjab), Amir Haider Khan Hoti (KP),  Awais Ahmed Ghani, Syed Qaim Ali Shah (Sindh), Nawab Mohammad Aslam Khan Raisani (Balochistan), Wazir Baig (GB) and Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan (AJK) presented issues and future development vision of their respective provinces and areas in front of the development forum.
