Soldiers of GB Scouts trained in First-Aid

Gilgit 26 July:  Simulation exercise and certificates distribution ceremony of a three day First-Aid and Emergency Management workshop was organized by Gilgit Baltistan Scouts at Family Hospital Gilgit.

The trainingin in which soldiers were trained for providing first-aid during a disaster was organized by GB Scouts in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent Society Gilgit Baltistan.

Director General GB Scouts Brigadier Nadeen ul Hassan and Secretary PRCS GB Ghulam Abbas distributed certificates among the participants.

Appreciating the efforts of PRCS, DG GB Scouts ordered inclusion of such fundamental trainings into the Scout’s trainings calendar. He ensured the cooperation of GB Scouts with PRCS in such essential trainings a head.

Addressing to the ceremony Mr.Ghulam Abbas Provincial Secretary Pakistan Red Crescent Society Gilgit Baltistan said that the motto and mandate of GB Scouts and PRCS is very same but the working style is different. He said that PRCS believes on institutional linkages in this purpose we provide trainings and workshops to Para military forces e.g. GB Scouts and Police to prepare them for any massive disaster to save the lives of human beings.
