[Nurse Shabana Death Case] Hostel Warden arrested by Gilgit police

Gilgilt, July 30—The Gilgit police have arrested the warden of Gilgit district headquarter hospital female nursing hostel, Jamila bibi, in the murder case of a nurse, Shabana Akhter, who was killed about two months earlier. According to police sources the police had constituted a team under the leadership of SDPO of Gopus for the arrest of the warden.

They said Jamila was in contact with the man who was blackmailing Shabana Akhter and was behind her killing. They said presently the criminal was in the police custody, it is pertinent mention here that Shaheen akhter a nurse getting training at the Gilgit DHQ was mysteriously murdered inside her room in the hostel some two months before some staffers of the hospital as well as hostel administration were trying to declare Shaheen’s killing as suicide.
