Government is working to strengthen democracy: Syed Mehdi Shah

Skardu, January 14: Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah says the Government is working for strengthening of the democracy and supremacy of Parliament under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari.

Addressing a function held at Radio Pakistan Skardu on Saturday‚ he said the Gilgit-Baltistan Government and people have full confidence on the President.

He said the PPP Government has provided job opportunities to five thousand people in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Syed Mehdi Shah praised the services of Radio Pakistan Skardu for the protection of Pakistan’s ideology in the border area of Baltistan.

The Chief Minister announced to construct an auditorium in the name of Saheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at Radio Pakistan Gilgit and another auditorium at Radio Pakistan Skardu in the name of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

The Chief Minister thanked the Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan and the Director General Radio Pakistan Murtaza Solangi for the approval of twenty-five per cent special raise in the salaries of Radio Pakistan Gilgit and Skardu.

    yes offcourse Mehdi Shah has shown his good governance by strengthining terrerism and sectarian voilance in the region.
