[Pictorial] The frozen river of Gojal Hunza

Time seems to stand still in the frozen Gojal Valley (Upper Hunza). Leave-less trees, demolished houses and half-sunk boats dot the frozen Hunza River between Ayeenabad and Hussaini, the region that was directly affected due to the damming caused by a landslide at Attabad, two years ago.

Mr. Asghar Khan, senior member of the Pamir Times Team, has shared some stunning images from the Gojal Valley, which depict scenes of despair and chaos.
