[BREAKING NEWS] K2 CHIEF EDITOR, RAJA HUSSAIN MAQPOON, DIED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

Islamabad, February 26: One of the pioneering journalists of Gilgit – Baltistan, Raja Hussain Khan Maqpoon, 35, Founding Chief Editor of Daily K2 and managing partner of the Karakuram Publishing Newtork, has died in a fatal road accident.He was returning from Lahore when the accident took place.

According to a KPN source the accident took place somewhere close to Sheikhopura today, when his car collided with a transportation truck on the Motorway. Husain sustained injuries in the accident. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where the young media tycoon of GB breathed his last.

Raja Maqpoon has the honour of establishing GB’s most prominent and widely read publications.
