Khudabad has won Rai Ghulamuddin Memorial Cricket Tournament

Karachi, March 25: Khudabad Cricket team defeated Shishkat in final match of the All Gojal Rai Ghulamuddin Memorial Cricket Tournament. The final match was played today at the Aga Khan School ground in Garden.

The final match was watched by a large number of people belonging to all parts of Gojal Valley.

Speaking after the prize distribution ceremony Assistant Professor Dr. Rehman Alvi, the chief guest, emphasized on the youth to play an active and positive role in the society.

The services of Rai Ghulamuddin for development of the region were highlighted and appreciated the speakers.

The tournament had been organized by Students Aid Society, a representative organization of the Karachi based residents of Gulmit, Gojal.

This type of sports events helped specially youngsters to build understanding among each other,I appreciated both the winner and runner up teams! the most exciting match was played between Shishkat A and Gulmit players in the semifinal, and Shishkat A won that match by chasing more than 1oo runs in only 4 overs.For organizing this sucessful event I thanks to the management who provide such a plate form to the players.

Congratulations a well-deserved win! Not only on your win but more importantly how you people conduct yourself as this is the first victory in Karachi of khudaabad team since many Gojal teams are playing very well. Keep sportsman spirit up, credit goes to Captain as well as all team members the way you handled your team with class. Keep up the good work and we’ll look forward to have more great tournaments on Gojal or GB level in years ahead,
