April 19: The second Pakistani to climb mount Everest, Hasan Sadpara, announced resignation from his position as police instructor and accused police department of manhandling him. He also said that he was stopped from meeting President Zardari yesterday.

Sadpara accused CM Mehdi Shah of ordering the police to remove him from the Skardu airport.

He leveled the allegations at a press conference held Thursday evening in Skardu, his native town.

Sadpara accused the GB government of mistreating him. “I have not received the prizes announced members of the GB cabinet”, he said, while talking to the media.
