Gilgit: The Rose Valley!

7
Photographs: Asghar Khan

Gilgit city has, unfortunately, been a victim of violence and conflicts but it located in a picturesque valley, surrounded by majestic mountains. A beautiful river, locally known as Hanisara, passes through the valley, having its origins at the Shandur plateau. The Gilgit valley is also known for its orchards and garden, full of delicious fruits and beautiful flowers. In this post we present photographs of roses currently spreading aromas in the valley recovering from almost one month of curfew.
