Ban on government jobs lifted in Gilgit-Baltistan

Gilgit, September 14: The Gilgit-Baltistan government has lifted ban on government jobs, said Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah while presiding over a meeting here in Gilgit. He said that corruption will not be tolerated in any government department.

He also directed the Secretary Mining to take steps for formulation of a mineral policy to initiate development work in the mineral sector.

The chief minister also said that 50 assistant sub-inspectors would be recruited in police department.

    Ban lifted and sale of job started, so how much cost for one job is still mystery in society…p

    each sub inspector police post must cost atleast 10 to 15 lacks. How one expects a person wo gave such an amount, to work sincerely ??

    Nasir Ali and E. K…. are saying exactly true, there in GB sale of jobs on its peak… is it symbol of real democracy, justice, peace, social/moral development in the society? thanks to GB Govt.

    now govt should be eliminate the elements of corruption from the different department of govt….than we will always appreciated the positive steps of the govt of GB
