Weeklong training on entrepreneurship concluded in Aliabad, Hunza

Aliabad, March 4: (PR) Karakoram Area Development Organization (KADO) conducted a weeklong training session on entrepreneurship development in Aliabad, Hunza.

25 young participants, mostly female, participated in the week-long training session. The participants were given theoretical and practical knowledge about entrepreneurship.

It is worth mentioning that majority of the trainees were successful earning handsome amount during their business demo.

The training was part of the EELY project of Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, which KADO is implementing through its HiMaT Indigenous Leadership and Development Program, in collaboration with the Golden Jubilee Organization for Local Development (LSO of Aliabad, Hassanabad and Murtazabad).

The participants were awarded certificates at the end of the training program. The participants and community representatives termed the training a healthy capacity building activity to electrify the community members to start self derive economic initiatives.
