Sino-Pak border to be opened on first April

Hunza: The governments of China and Pakistan government have agreed to reopen the closed Khunjerav border on the first day of the month of the April. The border is closed annually during the winters due to heavy snowfall at the 15,000 plus feet high Khunjerav border.

Officials source reports that the two sides have decided to change the annual opening date of the road from first May to first April, a month earlier. The closing date remains unchanged at 31st December.

Necessary amendments have been made in the border protocol, accordingly.
