Khalifa Sultan Shah passed away in Khyber, Gojal

Sost, April 5: Khalifa Sultan Shah passed away at the age of almost 80 years in his native village Khyber, in Gojal Valley, Upper Hunza. He had dedicated his life towards social services, helping thousands of people overcome distress and other issues.

He was a religious notable and contributed significantly to the field of religious education in the late 70s and 80s in his town and the surrounding areas of Gojal Valley.

He was laid to rest in his native village in the presence of thousands of people.
