[Vacancy] Snow Leopard Foundation needs Conservation Officer for Gilgit

slf_logoThe Snow Leopard Foundation (SLF) is a non-profit organization that aims to conserve viable population of snow leopards and other carnivores as an integral part of landscapes across Pakistan while, improving the socio-economic conditions of the people, who share the fragile mountain ecosystem with carnivores.

To manage its community based conservation programs, SLF requires a Conservation Officer for the Program Office, Gilgit. 

Qualification/Experience:

The applicant must hold university degree in social sciences and have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience. 

Skill/Competencies:

 Community mobilization and organization skills are pre-requisite for the position.

 Knowledge of livestock management system and associated issues in the mountain regions will be considered an asset.

 Good report writing and communication skills (fluency to speak English and local languages).

 Computer literacy (MS office, Inpage, Internet) and familiarity with data management and analysis is essential.
