Unknown people put a pile of timber on fire in Chitral

Chitral, July 21:  A pile of precious Deodar wood used for construction was put on fire by unkown people in Said Aabad area of Chitral.

According to locals, timber worth up to 90 millions lays scattered openly on the bank of Chitral river. They said that the timber is also threatened by floods.

They said that the Forest Development Corporation is not doing anything to save the wood from natural and human induced hazards.
