The protesters have blocked the roads to express solidarity with Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s Inquilab March.

The sit-ins in Gilgit and Skardu are being criticized by the locals who consider the issue of governments in the federal capital to be separate from the issues of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The government of GB, after failing to vacate the roads, has reportedly registered cases against the leaders of the parties who are staging the Dharnas.
