Floods wreak havoc in Thor Valley, Chilas

Chilas, August 26: Flood has wreaked havoc in the Thore Valley of Chilas, Diamer. Several houses have reportedly been washed away. Cropped fields have been destroyed and vehicles have also been washed away by the flood. There are no reports of loss of life. People have started rescuing on self-help basis, while many have reportedly saved their lives by fleeing their homes.
The floods, reportedly, started in the evening today after thunderstorms hit the valley.
