Islamabad Violence: Protest demonstrations held in Gilgit and Skardu, roads blocked

Skardu/Gilgit, August 31: Protesters from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, MWM, PMLQ and Sunni Ittehad Council held protest demonstration in different localities of Gilgit and SKardu, to express solidarity with the victims of police brutality in Islamabad. The protesters were carrying placards and raised slogans against the PMLN leadership for unleashing terror on peaceful demonstrators.

Protest demonstrations were held in Danyore, Jutal, Jutial, Gamba, Yadgar Chowk and other localities of the two districts.

The protesters demanded action against the perpetrators of violence and demanded resignation of the Prime Minister and dissolution of the assembly. They also demanded justice for the victims.
