Lahore: Dr. Rawish Khan, hailing from from Haramosh village of Gilgit Baltistan, passed away today in Lahore, at around 6 am, reportedly due to cardiac arrest. He was enrolled in the FCPS programme at the Dermatology Department, King Edward Medical University, Lahore. In his past he worked with Aga Khan Health Services, Pakistan and with the Ministry of Health, Gilgit-Baltistan.

He was known for his kind heart, compassion and willingness to help students and patients, especially those from the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

Lahore based students and activists have expressed shock and sadness over the sudden death of Dr. Rawish.

  1. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace and give courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. The selfless services of late Dr. Sab for GB would be always recalled and remembered.
