Ishrat Fatima from Skardu shines in B.A exams at the Karakuram Int’l University

Skardu, October 28: Ishrat Fatima, a student of Degree College Skardu for Women, secured second position in the Karakuram International University’s Bachelor of Arts exams, according to results announced yesterday.

Miss. Ishrat Fatima, who is also a Young MNA of National Youth Assembly, has won many awards in the past. In particular, she is winner of the Commonwealth Youth Award.

She has also received the emerging leadership award from US Alumni Network Gilgit Baltistan.

On getting second position in B.A at the GB level, she said that it is all due to the prayers of her parents and her own hard work. She also added that students from GB can excel at the international award if enough attention is paid to their education and if resources are made available.

She has been congratulated by Hannan Ali Abbasi President National Youth Assembly and cabinet of NYA on her achievement.
