Renowned religious and social personality Muhammad Ghulam passed away

Gulmit, October 28: Aalijah Muhammad Ghulam breathed his last yesterday at around 10 o’clock in the night. He was around 80 years old. He was laid to rest in his native village Gulmit, Gojal Valley, in the presence of thousands of people.

Aalijah Muhammad Ghulam’s life was dedicated for religious and social services. He led his community as a Mukhi for around 25 years. Simultaneously, he provided leadership in other areas of the community’s life. He was highly regarded as a gentle, kind and welcoming personality, who had dedicated his life for serving the area and its people.

Aalijah Muhammad Ghulam was father of Advocate Amir Ali and elder uncle of PT reporter Farman Karim Baig.
