Ransom: Young man abducted along with mother while traveling from Gilgit to Rawalpindi
Gilgit, November 10: A youth named Sajjad Ahmad Jan has reportedly been abducted along with his mother while traveling from Gilgit to Rawalpindi.
The abducted people belong to Chamogarh area, and their family is currently based in Konodas area of Gilgit city.
Brother of the abducted youth said that their mother was feeling unwell and she was being taken to Rawalpindi for medical treatment. Their vehicle, LES 6386 was stopped by at least four alleged abductors near Pattan area of Kohistan, and the ill woman along with her son were kidnapped. He revealed that the abductors were demanding 10 million (1 crore) rupees in ransom.
He further informed that FIR No 7171 has been registered online to report the incident. He hoped that the police will spring into action and leave no stone unturned in releasing his mother and brother.
