Cleanliness drive kicks off at District Jail Chitral

Chitral, December 10: The Additional Assistant Commissioner Mazhar Ali Shah initiated a cleanliness drive at district jail Chitral on the direction of the provincial Inspector General Prison.

While addressing the participants, the superintendent district Jail Chitral Riaz Ahmad said that the purpose of the campaign is to sensitize the prisoners about importance of physical and mental cleanliness. He said that in a clean environment citizens always think positive and they can be saved from different sickness.

Chief Guest Mazhar Ali shah said cleanliness is part of our faith and its promotion must be part of our religious obligation. He said Jail is a place to reform a prisoner to become a productive citizen.
