Shah Khan National Ski Championship concluded in Naltar Valley, Gilgit

Gilgit, February 24: The Shah Khan Ski Championship and the National Ski Championship concluded today in the spectacular Naltar valley of Gilgit.

Pakistan Air Force clenched the top position in the competition, followed by the team of Pakistan Army. 7 teams competed in the national mega event for almost 16 days. A total of 70 athletes participated in the event.

The final ceremony was attended among others by Commander FCNA Maj. Gen Asim Munir, Commander PAF Base Kalabagh Syed Abdullah and DG Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts, Farooq.

Speaking the occasion, Maj. General Asim Munir said that the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan have brought laurels for the country in all fields. He said that with appropriate support and training the youth can further play an important role in promoting Pakistan at the global level. He also appreciated PAF for organizing the event on annual basis.
