World wildlife day celebrated in Skardu

Skardu: Wildlife Department Baltsiatan, Directorate of CKNP and Baltistan Wildlife Conservation and Development Organization (BWCDO) jointly celebrated the World Wildlife Day 2015, on March 3, 2015 at Snowland Palace & Guest House Skardu. The message of the event was, “Wildlife Crime is Serious, Let’s get serious about Wildlife Crime”.

Commissioner Baltistan Malik Muhammad Afsar Khan was the Chief guest of the event while representatives from all relevant Government line departments, NGOs and communities were participating in the program. time World Wildlife day celebrated in Baltistan.

During the event, professional experts of the Wildife department, Directorate of CKNP, Forest Department Baltistan, BWCDO expressed their views on the topic. Renowned poets of Baltistan, Students as well as Commissioner Baltistan also expressed their views in poetry and speeches. 1st Event was concluded with the determination to join hands with each other by all the stakeholders to play their role in wildlife conservation in order to eradicate the wildlife crimes in the true sense.
