Karachi based residents of Khana Abad gather for ‘Family Fiesta ’15’

Karachi, April 15: Khana Abad Ismailia Students Welfare Organization (KAISWO) organized Family Fiesta ’15, a day long family festival on 12th April 2015 in twin lavish resorts of the suburban Karachi. The event was attended by more than 200 family members of Khana Abad residing in Karachi. The audiences were enthralled with an exceptional line up of cultural, family and recreational activities.

The event was formally started with opening ceremony with welcome speech followed by traditional “Sheyi Fiyaal – (Burum Hanik)”. Senior Adviser Sartaj Shah briefed the audience about the recent activities of the organization. The highlight of the event was family wellbeing and reunification. The crowd was very fascinated to see traditional games like “Mindok” and “Basar” with a striking mix of traditional music. Sport world was the center of attraction for the youth. The festival featured traditionally made food paired with tea and fiti. Event management of KAISWO has put a brilliant display of team work and played a key role in smooth organization of the event.

Attendees of Family Fiesta ’15 and fraternity from social work appreciated and exhibited there admiration after the smooth organization of the event. Attendees also appreciated the contribution of KAISWO towards the magnification of students from Khana Abad residing in Karachi. It is pertinent to mention that KAISWO has been rendering detached services for the students since its inception in 1987. KAISWO has successfully organized sports and recreational activities and academic programs for last many years.

In his vote of thanks President of KAISWO Muhammad Karim Damino reiterated the need of social mobilization and collective wellbeing which has remained a significant part of our traditional society. Furthermore he showed intend to come up with innovative academic programs in future. The event was concluded with distribution of token of appreciation for all the contributors of the event and special mementos were presented to the notables and special guests.
