Islamabad/Gilgit: Two soldiers of the Paksitan Army have embraced Shahadat while fighting against militants in Giyaal, a remote mountain village of Darel Valley, in Diamer district of Gilgit-Batlistan.

ISPR, giving details, has said that three wanted terrorists were shot dead by the security forces. The area has also been cordoned off and search for more terrorists is underway.

Local reporters have identified one of the slain militants as Hazrat Noor, who is believed to be a militant commander. Identities of the other two have yet to be clarified.

The terrorists were reportedly involved in attacks on security forces, tourists and transport vehicles, ISPR has added.
