Hussaini Volunteers from Gilgit-Baltistan organize cleanliness drive in G-6/2, Islamabad

Islamabad: Islamabad based youth and students from Gilgit-Balristan set a new example of civic engagement. Today, on 9th Moharram, members of the Hussaini Volunteers organized a cleanliness campaign, with the aim of spreading the true message of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) in a productive manner.

The Hussaini Volunteers used the 9th of Moharram to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and environment. Around 100 volunteers took part in the cleanliness drive held during the mourning procession held in G-6/2 area of Islamabad.

This was the first of its kind initiative undertaken by the Hussaini Volunteers. The volunteers said that they want to spread the message about the sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S) by engaging in productive activities.
