Cricket Stadium in Skardu

Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to set up a state of the art international standard cricket stadium in Skardu. CM Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has confirmed that PCB is willing and ready for construction of the first international standard cricket stadium in the extreme north of Pakistan. The stadium is being built to provide the talented players of the region with ample training and practice opportunities.

Skardu being a hospitable and peaceful city, is the best location for construction of a stadium, amid breathtaking and awe-inspiring mountain sceneries.

Skardu will be the flash point for national and international media if an and when an international cricket match is constructed in the region. It will surely boast tourism in the region.

The decision to construct a stadium in Skardu is a wise one. Players from all around the wold can come here with the hope and confidence that there will be peace all around.
