Two youth from Gilgit-Baltistan shot dead in Karachi

Islamabad: Alleged mobile snatchers have shot dead two youth belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan in Karachi. The deceased young men have been identified as Abdul Salam and Moin, who were living in Karachi. Both, Moin and Abdul Salam had remained students of AKHSS, Gilgit.

A graduate of the Aga Khan University and DOW Medical University, Salam was working as Assistant Manager Nursing Services at Karwan-e-Hayat, according to his Facebook profile. Moin was working at Bahria Town, said one of his friends.

Details of the shooting leading the death of these two young men are still murky. Dunya News has reported on its website that the shooting reportedly took place near an ATM machine in the Gulzar-e-Hijri area.

Bodies of the youth have been shifted to Rawalpindi, from where they will be taken to their ancestral area, Hunza, for burial.
