Chitral crushes Gilgit-Baltistan’s polo team in Shandur

Gilgit: Chitral ‘A’ humiliated Gilgit-Baltistan’s top polo team on the final day of the Shandur Polo Festival. Chitral A scored 13 goals, while Gilgit-Baltistan’s team could score only 7 goals, losing the final and crucial match by six goals.

The performance of the GB Polo team has infuriated people in Gilgit-Baltistan who are demanding sacking of the polo association officials and members of the selection team.

Undefeated for several years, the GB polo team has failed constantly to win against Chitral during the last decade.
