Motorcyclist injures a person in a brazen daylight firing attack

Gilgit, January 18: An unidentified motorcyclist opened fire in the Konodas locality of Gilgit city, injuring a man identified as Ilyas, son of Esa Khan.

According to details, the at around 02:50 in the afternoon an unknown motorcyclist opened fire near the Nusrat-ul-Islam Madrassah, in the vicinity of PWD office, Konodas, injuring a resident of Skarkoi. The injured was immediately shifted to City Hospital, where his condition is reported to be out of danger.

The motivation behind this attack could not be ascertained.
