  8. The website developer and the team have very discriminative approach. They must open broader vision and thougts for remaining Hunza and Gilgit Baltistan region.
    Thank you
    KARIM MADAD

  9. Dear readers and volunteers,
Im feeling proud to make know all the readers about the contributions of the volunteers of gojal.net, that they are performing their jobs @ rite time and they are serving this site without any remunerations, especially noor and zulfi are contributing more time, i would like to tell all the readers that some of the comments given by readers about a certain place or person creates dscrimination among the youth of gojal which is will create hurdles for the coming furure time, so it is requested here that be carefull about comments which creates hurdles.

  12. Dear Safi,

Thanks for appreciating the effort. As this is a voluntary iniative and totally depends on the contributions from volunteers. We are trying our level best to discuss issues of not only Hunza but of the entire Gilgit-baltistan but it is not possible without the contribution of people like you.

  17. the efforts of the editor are commandable. the quality of the blog depicts from the informations provided and they way they are presented by the editior is woth mentioning.
t the same sipirite is expected in the future as well.

  18. A comprehensive articulation about “About Us”. We the people of Gilgit-Baltistan need a balanced-social, political, economical psitionings–not challanging the rit and simultainiously not compromising the fundamental human rights. Any intellectual struggule can not afford to remain ‘non-political’.The term ‘non-political’ is an ambiguios and could be taken as ‘semi’ or ‘not’. That could be, I suggest, ‘not partison to any particular political party’. Furthermore the people of all the mountain regions of the roof-the-world be give space and recognition in the mission statement.

  19. i really appreciate the efforts of all the people who render their detached services for this site,,,,,,,,,,Noor is one of the uprising stars of north i really like the efforts of Noor regarding the representation of north youth all over the world,,,,,,,,,this magazine is the only source of information for the people of north to keep themselves updated with the happenings of northern area,,,,,,,,keep going guys,,,,,,,,all the best wishes are with you,,,,,cheers

  20. Dear Noor,
Please accept my deepest and heartiest congratulation on launching and managing this wonder and auspicious blog. i am off course very impressed by the quality of work by the team of Pamir Times. it is indeed a very thought provoking and highly educated effort to ignite a real change in our society.
i will be very fortunate to put in some of my efforts in this regard, if i qualify.
    God bless you all

    Adil Jan

P.S. i have addressed Noor because he is the person i have known for long time. Credit for every contributing member.

  21. Dear Adil

Thank you for the appreciation. Your addition to the PT team is going to be a big leap forward for our cause of regional integration and action.

I really appreciate your spirit of voluntary service. Kindly consider yourself a part of the team and send me a photograph for the “Team” section. Thank you again.

  22. How can anyone claim Pamir Times to be representative blog for GB or even Hunza with such a tiny scope when it smells Wakhi from every word of every paragraph! You are totally stuck with biased ideologies. You all need to mature and come out of your mouse’s hole before you make tall claims of representing a region or a larger community.

  23. Dear Mowla Dad,
Thanks for your comment. As far as the representation of Pamir Times is concerned, I think it is doing its level best by providing a platform for people to express and speak their hearts out.
We would be looking forward to people like you who can contribute and give a new flavor and a new taste to the platform. If you are getting fed up with the Wakhi flavor then you are most welcome to come up with something different and thought provoking. We are also not very much concerned about promoting a specific language rather is aimed at large to focus the various issues of GB.
It is you and me who can together work for a common cause putting aside the personal grounds and lingual differences.
We have never claimed of PT to have been focusing the entire issues of GB but whatever is contributed on voluntary basis is always welcomed and appreciated.
Everyone has equal right to comment and to criticize. This further boosts the credibility of the platform and helps to rectify the problems and address them keeping in view their expediency and significance.

I would like to thank Moula Dad for him comment and would expect at the same time to have his precious views so that further maturity needed can be acquired and can let us come out of our mouse’s hole as is of the view and has quoted likewise.

Lets have something more interesting and thought provoking from you.

  25. Mr. Aslam’s reply to MD is a comprehensive one. Simply critisizing is very easy than contributing in right direction. Had MD contributed a credible news/article which the PT team didn’t give space, MD would have all rights to raise finger.

Also, I would suggest every visitor of PT to avoid only appreciation in short words but the PT team would be more than happy to get valuable articles/news and commets on hot issues like economic dev, job market, quality edu, health, etc more specifically related to the GB.
My sincere gratitudes for every commentor and contributor of PT and the team. God bless U all.

  26. Every person of G B is bound to do certain duties in contemporary period, for making strong to Pamir team
in recognizing related to our culture.
Performing of his duty gives him delight and happiness.
instead of criticizing we should appreciate the Pamir team.
At last i will say, God bless u, nd keep it up.

  27. First I would extend my sincere gratitudes to the founders and team of Pamir Times for their outstanding services in keeping us comprehensively in the loop of the contemporary situation of our area/region. My question is from PT founders and team?? Do we have only dance in our culture or any development in social, educational, economical development or any spark in agricultural development sector??? Why dance and music is on the main page of our website??? Please don’t mind it, I am not critisizing I just want to share and want to suggest you to give a turn over to your ideologies and define our genuine cultural empathy to the world and to the next generation will inherit. I am sure you will not feel it bad.

  28. Dear Shamim Ali

First, thank you for the words of encouragement.

Second, if you look at the banner in a more detailed manner, it is not just about dance and music. History (architecture), means of livelihood (yaks, tourism, habitat), senior citizens (symbolized by dancing elders!), artisans (symbolized by musicians), wild life (snow leopard), sports (symbolized by polo) and many other aspects of our society have ably been represented in a very harmonious way by our graphic designer (Zahid).

What I feel missing, personally, is a female/women, figure.

Thank you for sharing your honest opinion 🙂

    Noor

  29. یہ ایک اچھی کوشش ہے اگر اس طرح تمام علاقے کے لوگ اپنے آپ کو نمایاں کرنے کے لئے آگے آئیں تو پاکستان کا امیج بہتر ہوسکتا ہے

  30. Hi every body, my name is Malik Hassan ali and i am from city of pines Abbottabad.
i am very shocked to see the videos and images of recent DIsastor in HUnza …
the unique culture, hospitality have inspired me allot.

  31. we all thanks pamirtimes whole team that they provide us information. they keep us in touch about the hapenings in gilgit baltistan. We all proud of tem.

  32. i very humbly appreciate the mighty services that you very professionally tender for communicational knitting of GB.
some times i found your coverage bit narrow and particularly confined to wakhi community, its my very humble suggestion that keep your identity as respectable citizen of HUNZA and go on with this wonderful work, nevertheless your efforts are worthy of emulation and commendable.

  33. Great source of information on Northern Areas, and a great help if you want to keep up to date (specially after the recent weather problems) and do not live in the region. Big compliment from Amsterdam!

  34. This is good initiative to aware all segments of life in Gilgit/ Baltistan by Pamir times.
One suggestion is that the pictures are now too old, could the current pictures to be posted of each village, if possible. which can compared by the post and pre disaster. That disaster and current flood damaged the Nature over there and disturbed the normal life completely. Can any body believe the changes before 2010 and after 2009.

  35. Dear noor and all members of PT:
you people are flying in the right direction.time is passing by very fast so the lucrative and long foresight act should be to take a vigilence over the assembly.some of your team members must be focused on council’s sessions and implementations of new legislation if any, and will be able to scrutinize the things impartially.
you are doing a very perfect job.
    Regards
    Hinal Khan
