Chitral, December 14<\/strong>: \u00a0An injured Kashmir Markhor, with broken legs and fractures in its back, had been captured some days back in Chitral Town. It had come to the town from the nearby mountains.<\/p>\n

Unable to move, the animal was captured by the local residents. It is now under\u00a0treatment at the Wild \u00a0Life Department’s hospital in Chitral.<\/p>\n

Divisional Forest Officer Chitral Imtiaz Hussain Lal said that the Markhor will be released in the wild after treatment and healing.<\/p>\n
