{"id":42836,"date":"2014-07-08T20:12:37","date_gmt":"2014-07-08T15:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pamirtimes.net\/?p=42836"},"modified":"2014-07-08T20:12:37","modified_gmt":"2014-07-08T15:12:37","slug":"chitral-three-officials-arrested-corruption-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pamirtimes.net\/en\/2014\/07\/08\/chitral-three-officials-arrested-corruption-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Chitral: Three officials arrested on corruption charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"color: #000000;\">By <strong>Gul Hamaad Farooqi<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Chitral, July 8<\/strong>: \u00a0Requests for extension of Bail Before Arrest (BBA) of three officials of the\u00a0Communication and Works (C&amp;W) Department in Chitral were rejected by a court today and they were sent to jail.<\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\">According to Inspector Afar \u00a0Ahmad, in-charge of Anti Corruption police Chitral that had lodged FIR on corrupt officials and contractors of C&amp;W in embezzlement case, the officials had earlier received BBA from a court.\u00a0Abdul Salam Divisional Account Officer, Sub Engineer Abdul Jalil and Sub Engineer Muhammad Khan had got BBA from local court and they were \u00a0produced in Court today for extension of their BBA but the learned additional \u00a0Session Judge Mr. Jamal Khan rejected their plea and cancelled their bails.\u00a0They were arrested by local police and were sent to jail for further investigation.<\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000; text-align: justify;\">It is pertinent\u00a0to mention here that Anti corruption police had arrested Superintendent Engineer retired Syed Jalaluddin Jan, Executive Engineers Nazir Ahmad, Fazal Khaliq,\u00a0 Fazal Mabood Sub Engineer, Hafizul Asad Sub Engineer, Qazafi contractor, Ghulam Jail Sub Engineer,\u00a0 Raham Badshah Account Officer, Habibur Rehman Contractor, and Abdul Muzafar Khan contractor in corruption case and were sent to jail.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Gul Hamaad Farooqi Chitral, July 8: \u00a0Requests for extension of Bail Before Arrest (BBA) of three officials of the\u00a0Communication and Works (C&amp;W) Department in Chitral were rejected by a court today and they were sent to jail.
