The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) in collaboration with Karakuram Research Initiative (KRI) is organizing a conference on \u2018Negotiating Change for Sustainability: The Art of Dialogue\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>on\u00a0August 6-7, 2017<\/span>, in Passu, Gojal Hunza. The conference aims at initiating dialogues between a national\/international scholar\/practitioner and a local scholar\/practitioner\/community members.<\/p>\n

We invite all the local, national and international researchers to submit their papers in one of the following topics under the main theme:<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Culture<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Natural resource management<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Economy<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Education<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Youth development<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Energy<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0Civil society.<\/p>\n

Paper submissions; Electronic submissions of unpublished papers (MS Word format) can be submitted to\u00a0aziz.ali@akrsp.org.pk<\/a>. The deadline for submission is\u00a0July 15, 2017<\/span>. Each paper should contain an abstract and provide author affiliations and contact information. All the papers should be submitted in\u00a0English.<\/strong>\u00a0We expect the selection process to be highly competitive, as only a dozen papers will be chosen. Travel and accommodations will be paid for speakers, discussants, and invited faculty.<\/p>\n
