Gilgit, January 9: <\/strong>Senior Journalist Manzar Shigri has reported GB Law Minister, Wazir Shakil, as saying that a judicial commission formed to investigate the killing of two IDPs in Hunza and the resultant violence has named DSP Babar as the main culprit.<\/p>\n

“The Commission had found Babar guilty of incompetence and negligence”, the minister reportedly said. He has further said that the Judicial Commission had recommended annulment of FIRs against those held in connection with violent protests, terming the violence to be an “emotional reaction”.<\/p>\n

However, Law Minister said that it is not possible for the government to finish the FIRs because massive damages had been caused to public property.<\/p>\n

The Law minister has negated the news that CM, Speaker, Law Minister (himself) and officials of the district administration had been named in the inquiry report as culprits.<\/p>\n

“The Commission held the provincial government responsible on the account of delays in releasing funds that led to protests”, the Law Minister has reportedly said.<\/p>\n

After the revelations by Wazir Shakil, the demand for making the report public officially is likely to increase manifolds because hundreds of youth were tortured and kept in jail even after the commission had completed its probe and submitted the report to Chief Secretary and Chief Minister.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
