He said that wheat will continue to be sold at at the subsidized rate. He also added that the Prime Minister wants to develop Gilgit-Baltistan, bringing it at par with other parts of the country. Tahir also ensured the public that appointments on vacant posts will be held transparently, based on merit and rule of law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/140372408&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;visual=true\" height=\"200\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>Chaudhary Barjees Tahir was addressing the death anniversary of slain PMLN leader, Saifur Rehman Khan, in Gilgit today. He had arrived in \u00a0the regional capital along with MNA Marvi Memon in a helicopter to attend a mammoth show staged by the PMLN in the historical Garhi Bagh area, in the heart of Gilgit. Thousands of people had gathered to listen to the PMLN leaders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Federal Minister also said that the provincial government has promoted a culture of loot and plunder in the past.
